Jovi Overo (registered as an approved person with the FSA) after graduating with a Bsc from university he began his career at Arjent Stockbrokers, a UK equities house that dealt with US blue chip stocks. Whilst at Arjent, he worked directly under one of the largest portfolio managers who spear headed the firms' expansion into Europe.

With a keen interest and experience gained, Jovi Overo left the equity markets to further progress his career in the soon to be bullish environment of the FX and commodity market at CA Trading. Growing through the ranks of junior trader his trading ability saw him become senior trader in a relatively brief period of time. Jovi Overo oversaw the growth of the precious metals and FX department at CA Trading and this lead him to join Lane Clark's Beta 2 Ltd as head of Trading and he now covers some of the largest clients in Europe. In his current capacity, Mr. Overo is responsible for overseeing the day to day activities of the FX and precious metals department, including portfolio construction, client relationships and risk management.

Jovi Overo is also a keen and winning live and online poker player who believes that poker and trading share certain similarities that compliment each other well. Along with poker, Jovi Overo is also a keen amateur boxer who takes his killer instinct from the ring and applies it to the markets where he takes no mercy.

Along with markets, Jovi also is a keen linguist who is conversational in Italian and Spanish and is currently learning Japanese, Mandarin and French.
